Calm

Hi friends! What we are all experiencing now is a strange time. Very few of us have ever been through something like this before. If you are feeling a little bit scared, anxious, tired, angry, or confused, those are all natural responses to this situation. What this page is for is helping you to cope with unwelcome feelings or finding ways to relax and refocus your energy. Sometimes we all need a little bit of help to find our calm.

Music can be a powerful tool for helping us calm our bodies. Did you know that listening to slow and steady music actually helps us slow our heart rate and calms us down? Try this: Play the meditation video to the left and find a quiet activity to do, maybe a puzzle, doodle, or colouring. Give it 5-20 minutes and see how you feel after.
Fear and stress can cause our bodies to tighten up which in turn makes us feel more stressed. Learning to relax our bodies can actually help us relax our minds. If you are feeling tense try this activity and see how you feel after.
Stretching and exercise help to improve our moods. Try to find time each day to spend at least 20 minutes being active in some way. Stretching is a great way to find focus and calm your mind.
